What’s been standing out for me in his process of learning is how much and how fast he processes information. Sometimes he gets it immediately, especially when it’s something he hasn’t done before like the fist bump. The Value I give Relationships and Relationships gift to Me   I have walked a long path with these two ladies and many of you may relate to having people in your life for many years as well. You very seldom hear of people walking a path together in this one life that stretches over many years, also here looking at ‘friendships’ – where a connection / relationship between you has been kept ‘alive’ so to speak. This is odd though in terms of such an occurrence being ‘rare’…how seldom we can keep the various people and relationships we’re exposed to ‘alive’. We never know what changes we may face in our individual lives – moving away, conflicts / fighting, illness, death etc. – but a common thing I have found is that when change comes, in all different shapes and sizes within a relationship, we very easily accept and allow this change to compromise the relationship in some way or another and very easily ‘break ties’ so to speak. The Moment, the Day - then the Future Looking to the future...it's unpredictable, it's unknown and so therefore untrustworthy.  We so often place trust in the future when we in our minds imagine a future we'd like / desire and in this misplace two things: creation and trust. Meaning: if you focus too much on an ideal future in your mind (whether related to career, money, relationships, life in general etc.) - many tend to think / imagine that future MORE than actually practically planning or developing ways to bring it into creation by putting in the daily effort to make that future a reality. Goal of the Moment I was in a discussion when a point in relation to Goals and setting them opened up. It started off with an individual sharing with me how they plan their day: list all the things that needs to get done in that day, prioritise them and tick them off one by one. If they come across contingencies beyond their control on their walk through the day – they will return to their list, recheck all the priorities and move / shuffle the responsibilities according to the days of the week based on priority. So, this individual’s schedule (in relation to daily goals) is pliable – yet maintains a focus and is walked dedicatedly day in and day out. From here – the discussion went into Goals as follows: they shared with me their short-term goals in the next year or two and then shared with me long-term goals that will stem from the short-term goals.
